Well to start this flight was on a z class as just 8 weeks earlier virgin had a price crash maybe due to 14 upper seat became 38 ish due to a/c changed so changed ticket from g and saved the points.

After a disappointing SEQ 62 outbound I had to redeem myself which in V-flyer tradition did by gaining SEQ 1-2 to the disgust of Mrs F saying what's that all about.

Arrive at the airport and quickly checked in and I am glad we now use the Club Mobey Lounge which is pleasant and the barman is a good laugh try to imitate everyone's accent . Food is snack type but loved the Jamaican patties.

The boarding gate is a little chaotic to say the least and I must have counted over 35 wheelchair passengers all lined up as we passed them on the gangway as upper was called.

Offered refreshment as I sat in 16a and marked seat down as it seemed that the padding had all gone and I had a piece of wood digging into my back (informed the flight crew and offered another seat but said it would be in bed mode most of the journey) but put pillow in the small of my back for take off.

Food was excellent and had the beef and really nothing more to report as I managed a good 5 hours.

The only glitch came waiting for our bags where 1 bag ended coming last of the conveyor but overall a great flight. Crew as usual fantastic

Shame about the uncomfy seat but glad the rest of the flight was good ,

Thank you for the TR. I hope the excellent food made up for the short fall in the seat. I agree the Mobay Lounge is quite a nice place to wile away the time before the flight. We also experienced the very long line of wheelchair passengers when we were there. Enjoy your next trip to Nice.
