Getting the thread back in line (well sort of). There is something I have always been confused about guys. I have been thinking about it on and off for many years now, but the thought came back to be at bed time last night, and now it's really bugging me. What's all this with scatter cushions? If I cast my mind back to when I was young, single and carefree I owned a scatter cushion. Just the one, which I used on my desk chair because the chair was quite hard. Now I look around and they are all over the sofa. And I think they are breeding because they are also on all the comfy chairs, although there is not a single one on any of the hard chairs. And it's getting worse. The infestation has spread up-stairs, and they have been sprouting all over the beds. Why? Are beds hard and uncomfortable with out a few (well 6 or 7 actually) of the little devils? No of course not, which is why the first thing we do when we go to bed is to throw them on the floor. Maybe the duvet covers we have are ugly, in which case why did we spend so damn much on them? Or maybe beds are sinful, dirty places of which we should be ashamed. So we have to cover them up and disguise them lest any guests realise we have the foul and wicked things in our house.
Help me out guys, because it beats the hell out of me.
