£9,000 for a Range Rover Sport??

This is so cheap there MUST be something wrong or an inetresting reason why.
Someone is selling a Range Rover sport TDV6, 29,600 miles, for £9,200 for a quick sale!

If I wasn't at this moment in time out of work and looking for a car more in the £2,000 bracket [:p] I would be tempted to investigate and see why.

Pete, its going to make them more wanted, as the people in London who buy them will be able to flash their wealth at the "little people" in the " Look I can afford Ken's stupid taxes" attitude.
The stupid thing is that even our renault Espace 2.2 diesel, which is a very efficient and fuel efficient vehicle would be effected by this tax, whilst the polluting buses and taxis wont![n]

I wonder what surprises the buyer will find in the boot/trunk?;)

I got a reply. Basically the car is in Budapest where the gentleman concerned bought it "from an English man who lost a considerable sum of money in a casino here and needed the money really fast".

Screams 419 or similar so I've News of the Worlded on him.

I wouldn't touch a car in the condition it is in for that price even with a bargepole!

Besides as Pete says no-one will want them soon so unless you really need one (i.e. countryside residnets/farmers) sell them on now otherwise watch the cars depreciate by the bucketful (doesn't matter whether you have a Tata Safari or a Range Rover Vogue they will all be affected)

handed). The car comes with original invoice, log book, keys and all

delivered to your home address on a low loader in 5 days since your
payment has been confirmed. YouÕll have 10 days from the time you
receive the car to inspect it and decide if you want to keep it or not.


I don't think it's the car for me, but no doubt someone will snap it up!

My mother has a Range Rover 2, it's four months old now and she paid just over £68k for it. Extremely nice but she couldn't park if her life depended on it.

£9k sounds dodgey... my Mini was more expencive!

I'm not particularly a fan of Range Rovers - not becuase of the cars themselves, but the reasons that some people buy them. I'm sure many buy them because they actually like them, but I'm sure quite a few people have only bought them to look like "celeb" xyz and would have had no inkling to purchase one normally.

I understand what you mean, I've drove my mothers a few times and get real funny looks! I think David Beckham has one (his is bullet proof) but my mother bought one because if she has a car any lower to the ground she'd take the exaust off on the farm driveway.

I think they're a really nice car to drive and be in; even though they are the size of a house!

I don't mind those who buy them because they need them or because that's actually the car they want, but it really bugs me if people buy one so they can drive from Holland Park to Harrods and look like David Beckham/Jamie Olliver etc. in the process;)

I LOVE them! fantastic car.
I have had three, but have just bought a 3.0 Ltr Mitsubishi Shogun (90,000 miles on the clock) complete with a "get out of my way peasant" chrome bull bar :D
