No, they require that you buy two seats if you don't fit into one, however they will refund you the second seat if the flight is not full.

Oh good point...or it could be that she does not care because for one the Fat tax would not apply to her and as you say, she would never fly with the riff raff anyways...well accept for LRoM of course, but one does need someone around to carry the luggage.
