According to Harry Enfield that is!

New series running from Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse on BBC 2 on a Friday.

One of their best series of late, including the London couple with their Geordie "pet", the intellectual Builders, and for some, the outrageous Laurel & Hardy do Brokeback Mountain..

Its not for the easily upset or PC mob [:o)][:o)]

I saw that clip on the telly, and though the humour a bit crude. I've seen way funnier piss-takes of both Gates & Jobs. Some of the other clips weren't bad, but IMHO, Whitehouse and Enfield aren't back on form and this smacks of the pair desperately trying to make a comeback after being off the box for a while.

Not really offensive from a PC perspective, but it certainly is predictable and stupid.

And IIRC, Jobs is not Canadian so would not have said "PRO-cessors."

Great comedy is in the details...

A bit of a curates egg. I enjoyed the middle class couple keeping the geordie as a pet and the coffee shop sketches but it stacked up very poorly against "Peep Show".

It's a shame that Paul Whitehouse hasn't managed to find enough traction to appear more often on the electric television despite "Happiness" being a great series that ran for two seasons and, of course, being the inimitable Rowley Birkin QC.

I couldn't agree more, after being off our screens for a good few years he seems to have come back with the same basis for his material which just isn't funny anymore, the two fat kids was just so 1995 [n] surely our license fee could be better spent[ii]
