Oh cool topic! It would be SQ for me, I think they are great, and have a great product, wouldn't mind trying their new J and F class products! [y][y]

I've chosen BA becuase I can't pretend that SQ would fly to every destination, also the good thing about BA is that they have WTP for those times when J is too much and I can't face Y.

Saying that, in an ideal world with ideal cash flow SQ is better....

Cheers!

Qatar - although I've never flown the airline, I've heard really good things about them and can't wait to fly QR (is that the right code?)

VS.

Well it's different for me because I live in the U.S. and VS only offers service to LHR, but for me it would have to be BA. BA is the only other airline that currently flies from EWR to LHR in addition to VS. But you'd have to consider that if VS didn't exist a different UK airline would have its presence in LHR transatlantic routes. All of which will soon change apparently.

If Qatar started flying to the west coast that would be heaven.

I voted 'Other' because it would mainly depend on where I am flying to and where from.

I voted SQ becuase they are a great way to get around my corner of the world, and I've always had the priviledge of flying J with them, which as most people agree is a model of services standards we like to see in J.

KLM is always high up on my list. Usually unbeatable prices, superb connections from many UK airports, ease of transfer at AMS, the only downside is the definately ordinary J seat and mediocre lounges, but this is more than made up for by the onboard service.
I've said it before and I'll say it again... There is something special when the CSS introduces him/herself when you first arrive at your seat and calls you by name without reference to the list, and all the cabin crew continue to do so for the duration of the flight.
In Y just the prices and easy non Heathrow connections do it for me.

LAX is a route we do at least once a year so I have voted for Air New Zealand as they have the UC Suite and fly LHR-LAX.

I'd have to go with united [:o)]

I'd rather fly a US carrier than BA to america any time of the day!

I found this one tough to answer as it depends where in the world I am.

IMHO NZ offer the best all round service of any airline in the world- great LH operations coupled with good SH range and then a fantastic personal service domesitcally within NZ.

In the end I went with SQ because I feel the crew are what VS crew should be like. It was close though.
