Could you create an option for a mixture of 1,2 & 3. Although 1 is probably the closest. I HATE de-icing the car, and especially as the other half seems to have an aversion to doing it I end up having to do two cars, grrrr.

Well, my car has heated windscreen and rear screen, heated mirrors and heated seats ... so we turn it all on and luxuriate for a few minutes ...

Sit in the car, turn the CD player on and wait for the electric windscreens to do the job themselves. [^]

Having lived in Russia for a time this was a daily experience for at least 5 out of the 12 months. Golden rule number 1, never leave the handbrake on. Believe me you will only do this once in your life as it takes hours to defrost with the engine running.

In Finland / Sweden, you can plug your car into the mains which acts like an electric blanket, but best of all was in Kyiv where I could start the car from inside the house with keyless engine start, so it was all warm and cosy for me to step into. Great idea.

Yay for the new option, although I have already voted so can't select it now, that is one I go for.

Should have been formerly (as in previously) not formally (as in offically)!

And I am guessing it should have been officially rather than offically[;)]

Brain is SO not tuned in to those type of error at the moment, no doubt others would have noticed however.

When the 'new' Mini was on sale it had an option, in warm weather, to phone the car and turn on the air conditioning, I thought that was neat ...

Many years ago, when we lived in Vienna, my dad had the perfect solution: he'd bring me a cup of tea at 6:15 [V] and get me to do it for him. Found it diffficult getting back to sleep after that, but it did have the advantage of clearing a hangover [:w]

Where's the option for credit card? My trusty shell plus points card has done two years of sterling ice scarping until it succumb to an untimely death this morning, resulting it bits disappearing into various bowels of the car

The bristly bodies of the hedgehogs I can obliterate with my car the night before in my street.

They make for a great abrasive tool to use in the morning when they've 'set' in the overnight cold.

Does the car tell you are about to run one over, only for you to ignore it...again.

It's been saying 'PLEASE service me NOW!' for about 4 weeks at the moment.

Funny, all it's going to take is a phone call and they'll come and do it all. I just like inflicting pain on the poor thing.... [:w]

...and hedgehogs.
