The unlimited text bolt-on is going I'm afraid (from all O2 tariffs) along with O2 treats (well the extra minutes or texts treats are anyway).

The O2 forums are going ape over this.

Looks like the 3.0 for Touch has taken a dive. Keep getting 'Unknown error (-4) when I try.

You're not paying for it are you?! [:0]

O2 are idiots. They just keep re-confirming my position for me, with no intervention of my own.

Idiots. [ii]

I'm not sure if it only applies to new customers or not. Like everything O2 do, they don't make it very clear. Existing customers might be able to keep it, I dont know, you would need to check.

Having phoned them twice today (as they cocked up my data roaming bolt-on) which now haven't got (good job I checked!!), surprisingly I got though straight away both times.

Edit - now not sure if the unlimited text bolt-on is going or not. There seems a bit of confusion over this and the new family bolt-on.

You can still add the unlimited text bolt-on to all tariffs apparently but not sure what happens with MMS.

Sorry [:I]

Yep, worth the 6 for the bluetooth streaming. Means I can play it through my car handsfree kit.

Several people have reported that iPhones don't always work with certain car Bluetooth options (even using O/S 3.0).

It seems a bit hit and miss with Bluetooth.

There's long list here of hidden features in O/S 3.0

A number of the apps I had no longer work under 3.0 such as WIFI finder etc [:(!], suspect I will have to wait for a 3.0 compatible version to be released

That's odd as my WiFi Finder still works OK under version 3.0 [:?] I'm using this free WiFi Finder

I had no problems at all with any of my apps here.

Anyone else noticed that the 10% battery warning message has now disappeared in O/S 3.0?

You get the 20% warning message but then that's it.

Not sure if this is a bug though.

My GPS seems much better now with 3.0 than it did before [y]. Now it even locates me when inside a building (I get the blue dot now, where as, before I never could)
