27 years straight of avoiding ANYTHING that doesn't "ding", and I just used:

A skillet,
Real milk (from cows),
Water,
A packet of stuff,
Some dead cow (not shaped in a round disc),
A measuring cup thing,
GAS! (wooohooo!)
...and a plastic spoon thingy.

Oh my god - I wasn't wrong, Microwaves are SO the way forward. I feel sick just thinking about it, I even had to "stir occasionally".

Still, it does beg the question: Why can't we have these in England? Hmm? They taste gooooood...

Oh and you know what? After 20 minutes of cooking stuff, I'm not that hungry... [ii]

Helpful hint in USA: (Area Code)-Local Exchange-PAPA

For Example (and to send me pizza): 703-266-PAPA or 703-266-7272

Works everytime!

Oh dear lord. What on earth is that? I wouldn't give it to my cat.

The cookies look good though.

I am getting mal-nutrition, rickets and heart disease just looking at it... [:$]

Ok, I am not a gourmet cook, BUT cooking your own food (from good quality fresh ingredients) is the way to go... Ok having the time to do the preparation can be an issue, but it tastes SOOOO much better!

Oh and if you like bread (and don't live next door to an excellent bakery), then a breadmaker is worth investing in... :)

Just a quick FYI, to Paul McDonald's is good quality fresh ingredients.

What next, doing your own laundry?

Paul,
If you can do cookies you can surely stick a roast and potatoes in the oven. And boil some water for steamed vegetables. And slice some bread. Voila! A banquet appears.

Well done Paul. So when will you be inviting us all round for that dinner party, and swapping good bread sauce recipes?

Thanks,
Sarah

Let me just clarify the "doing cookies".

Ahem... [:w]

And hey - leave McDonalds out of this. What with the pickle, lettuce, onion and fried potatoes - a Big Mac¨ meal provides me with 4 of my "5 a day". [y]

For the sake of your arteries and for the chance of living much beyond 50... try and find yourself a partner who can cook [:p]

I guess you don't want to know that I just had pickled pigs feet followed by what may well off been the best rack of lamb I have ever eaten.

Umm - So.

SOMEONE'S [:w] just given me an idea today.

I didn't really want any of the food on my flight last week, and I'm guessing today's will go the same way. Who's with me on sending a petition to Steve Ridgeway's office to get Hamburger Helper (one or two flavours, at least) added to the freedom menu?

Go team... [^][^][^][^][^]

Well at least you could recognise what bits of the animal you were eating (unlike a cheap burger)... [y]

Nothing wrong with a bit of red meat :) (unless you live off a diet of pure red meat that is... [?] ).

Actually it tasted pretty good, but it had serious texture issues for me...however the person that was serving the food..well in Vegas tradition..they serve..you eat..even if it is just a nibble...must show respect [8D]
