Regrettably I think the title is going to Old Trafford again this season as Chelsea let Wigan equalise at the last minute.

I still think Avram Grant wasn't the right man to replace Mourinho as he set the standards and I would've expected somebody like Frank Rijkaard to replace him.

Yeh I think it has gone to Old Trafford this year. Although it will be the only trophy they will be getting I believe.

As for Grant, thats the problem when you get a multi billionaire to take over your club and use it as a toy....he brings his pals in to manage the team. Will he be there next season? Yes but only if he keeps on Roman's side.

And if we want real football then all look at the Championship. What a title race that is proving to be. Would love it if Bristol City and Hull (Q the insults) come up.

Yes I was just going to say, has it occurred to anyone that the cesspit which shall not be named (it is in the East Riding of Yorkshire and located to the right of the northerly point of the Humber Bridge) may have a team in the Premier League next season!

I don't know whether to see this as a good thing or bad thing.

Personally I think its a great thing. Who would have thought that Hull, a team that was saved on the last day of the season last year from being relegated, would be occupying an automatic promotion slot with 5 games remaining!

On a personal note, it would also be nice to see Dean Windass back in the premier legaue, I always knew the guy was 'classy' when I saw him play for Oxford United years ago. [}:)]

Well said Will. Having only missed 1 home game and a few away games all season, we fully deserve to be in an automatic promotion place at the moment. God knows what next season would bring if we did go up but it would be fantastic for the City if we did.

Deano has been great but Michael Turner our center half has been the player of the season by a mile! Interesting times ahead.....

Having Hull come up will be wonderful as then I get to watch them go down.

'Twas nice to see West Ham win today, though. I have a soft spot for those blokes.

UPDATE: Oh my goodness, we certainly like to play dangerously, don't we? An inspired performance by the American Friedel, to be sure, but ultimately not enough to knock us off course for the League championship. But...whew! [:0]

Forgot to mention the 'Friedel cliffs' GJ.
The Premiership title wouldn`t be such a prize if it was so easy.
Several United fans followed us into our local after the match. All were gentelemen to a man and a good mixture of ages too. Just how football matches should be.

Yep, and with the Champions League games nicely set up, we have a couple of weeks of fun footie.

Still Uniteds title to loose.

Although the scenes during the game (Rio Ferdinand, future possible England Captain), in the immediate aftermath of the match (rio Ferdinand kicking a female steward) and in the warm down were most unsavory. IT will be interest to see if there are any repercussions for this.
