2) British Weather
3) People who take their kids to work when said kids are ill/off school
4) Paying tax
5) The daily commute
6) Teenagers and the 'youth of today' who hang around street corners
7) People who text constantly, especially during meetings
8) The PC brigade (that one, and the software one ;))
9) Clingfilm
10) People who talk street or black when they are not.

3) Some of the occupants of said line that look down at you as if you should be flying easyjet!
4) Virgin's FC program. Continental suck big time but their FC is very good. United's is much better. Luthansa's top tier has a limo to the PLANE!

Oh my... I could go on for hours about my pet hates.

a) The Mail, The Sun
b) Big Brother and the raft of reality shows, if it contains the word 'celebrity' in the title then it is bound to be crap and containing no true celebrities at all.
c) Those muppets in the streets and stations with credit card offers/WWF etc
d) Expedia with their smug 'we don't charge credit card fees' tagline, yet charge an admin fee.
e) Hello, Heat and Ok
f) People who take the day off work because little Johnny isn't well and the bastards have broadband at home.
g) That bastard advert with the woman from some crap womens mag that tells 'her' beauty secrets
h) Gordon Brown
i) Ambulance chasers
j) British tourists that insist on wearing the shorts, flip flops and 'Barcelona 92' attire at airports and when travelling
k) British tourists wearing football shirts abroad and dressing their kids in the same
l) Spam in all senses
m) Practically all journalists (esp. those that alledge to be technical)
n) People that can't put a simple e-mail together in proper English.
o) Parents that walk into you with their pushchair
p) People that can't park properly
q) Stupid 'celebrity' fashion - ponchos FFS.
r) Layabouts that ponce off the state and then whinge when tax on alcohol and cigarettes is put up.
s) BMW drivers, esp the tossers with the debadged 3 series (when we know its a 318 or 316 - low of the low) that insist on sitting in the outside lane.
t) BAA security staff
u) Non-standard ring tones - they are meant to jsut ring, not play some crap music.
v) Flyign Club offering out silly Economy prizes for Gold members that typically fly in PE or UC.
w) Political Correctness
x) Offshore Call Centres
y) Travel companies that offer 'free child places' - no such thing, price is just absorbed in adult prices. If you want kids great, but don't ask me to subsidise them in any way.
z) Aptly at Z, people who are famous for no apparant reason whatsoever. Chantelle, Paris Hilton, Jade Goody etc.

Sure I will think of a lot more....

Quite often they're ignorant arrogant oafs who believe that they have superiority over other road users and hence drive in an aggressive and irresponsible fashion. A generalisation I know HL,(sorry Mark) but more often than not it's the BM driver who slews across three carriageways to come off at a motorway exit (nearly causing a major pile up in their wake)or forces themselves into a gap that that isn't there,or drives down the hard shoulder because they're too important to queue legitimately in a traffic jam .Generally loathed by other drivers (with the de-badged 3 series increasingly being driven by baseball cap wearing morons who have sub-woofers booming music at several hundred decibels )and the major reason Mr DL sold his 5 series and bought something else. There -rant over.

Well put. A great shame too as they make some really good cars - Love the M5/M6 and the 6 series - they tend to be driven by more sensible people. Same can not be said for M3 though as they have plummeted in price and can now be found in the hands of absolute muppets. Bright Yellow with some moody coloured interior - oh please.

Fear not, woman...the majority of my wardrobe is, indeed, Paul Smith, bespoke Richard James/Gieves & Hawkes/Turnbull & Asser or Armani.

As for Becks, I think he's truly excited about a) all that dosh and b) leveraging his fame to create more interest in a sport he loves. Not to be combative, but how can people slag the Beckhams as talentless idiots when they seem to have managed to do very, very well for themselves? Is it all just a matter of sitting back and letting the stars align, or would anyone be willing to admit they are clever as foxes?

And bigamy be damned -- get over here and I will make an honest woman of you.

GJ

PS -- No need to send the Sunderland kit as i still have my Man U Keane shirt :D

GJ I shall now sleep soundly knowing that 20% of your wardrobe is of a stisfactory standard -my only worry now is the shoes[:0].Unfortunately, I'm not a member of a faith that practices polygamy, and as I'm a law abiding citizen we'll have to put the chapel on hold for the time being.
I think the shirt should still be despatched though- would bring a bit of class to the current membership of shirts you possess.
PS I never cited Mr Beckam as being talentless -his past level of skill is not in doubt.

Good topic!

1) Teenagers who repeatedly get pregnant and just perpetuate the situation for another generation (I'll try and lighten up now)
2) Chantelle "living the dream"
3) Npower or Southern Electric lakkies banging on my door once a month to get me to switch to them (they'll be asking to tarmac the drive next!)
4) Teenagers (again) playing their ringtones on speaker on the train
5) Steak coming medium when you asked for it rare
6) txt spk
7) Lilly livered bleeding hearts
8) Anyone who isn't punctual
9) Dubya
10) Bad barstaff service in the UK (using cups to measure wine, not having any cranberry juice in, despite being opposite a late Tesco)
11) The battery on my Nokia 6233
12) Political correctness
13) Clone towns
14) New York Hotel prices

I will inevitably find more...[:$]
