[y]Respect. For me it would be:

FAVOURITE BAND(S):
Floyd + Dave Gilmour and Roger Waters individually
Paul Simon
Bowie
Filippa Giordano
Ladysmith Black Mambazo
Rush
But I should really put in Puccini, Elgar, Verdi and Dvorak (except they are not bands)

LEAST FAVOURITE BAND(S):
Chas and Dave, Wizard and Slade - dur!
Any manufactured girl or boy band

BEST CONCERT YOU EVER SAW:
The Wall or Pulse. BB King was also top notch. 'Fraid these are all going back a few years, as I am too old to stand for hours now.

CONCERT YOU NEVER SAW BUT WISHED YOU HAD:
Anything by Jacqueline Du Pre. Tosca - I had tickets but stood up my date and therefore missed the performance. A Genesis concert

MOST RECENT RECORD BOUGHT:
On an Island by Dave Gilmour

MOST RECENT CONCERT SEEN: Can I put Katzenjammer? Otherwise it would be The Ring, most of which I managed to sit through at home, in between food and loo breaks.

FAVOURITE BROKEN-UP BAND: Floyd, although have they broken up, really?

Have Pink Floyd broken up? - I saw an interview with David Gilmore once, where he said "Pink Floyd don't break up, they just go away and wait for technology to improve to the point where their next show can be an order of magnitude 'bigger' than their last show".

Exactly. Floyd seem to have been reformed more times than a Chicken McNugget. Nick Mason was on Dave Gilmour's latest album for example, although it still went out under the the Gilmour rather than Floyd label. BTW they went back to the wine glass xylophone on the latest album - a return to Crazy Diamond - so its not just technology! I suspect we will never see Waters back though, more's the pity [n]

I'm not so sure. I heard seperate interviews with both Roger Waters and Dave Gilmore after the Live 8 concert, and both of them said they fitted back together like an old pair of shoes, Roger said he was too old to continue the "sillyness" of the past and wouldn't rule out another reunion..... Time will tell.
