Well when you have been watching it as long as I have...... [|:)]

My word, I didn't realise TV had been around that long! [:p]

Thanks,
Richard

And I was 16 before we had it in our house. [:0] I had to go to a neighbour's to watch television before then - in black and white, of course.

When I was young, young man........

Anyone else think it was hilarious as Terry announced the wrong winner, only to be corrected (and Cyndi probably already planning her trip to Finland?)

So, we've got the campest cabin crew song ever. Gotta be a winner, eh? ;)

Pete, I totally agree, it was hilarious when Terry and Fern both said different names and the look of disappointment on Scooch's face was so funny, would love to hear the Beeb try and explain that one.

On a more serious note ;).....

Scooch's song has all the ingredients for a successful Eurovision song (campness, catchy lyrics, good use of props/costumes) and is our strongest entry for years, and please let us win if only for the fact our entry has the line "would you like something to suck on for landing sir" in it, classic. Also as it is has an aviation theme maybe we could adopt it as the "sites song"[}:)]

Well, it certainly couldn't be any worse than that tat we entered last year. An ugly white geezer trying to do rap. Just didn't work at all (and Europe let us know it didn't!).

What can I say? A travesty of the highest order. Nul points here we come. What on god's clean earth were the 'great' British public thinking?? An aging bunch of tone deaf Steps-alikes dressed as cabin crew? It wouldn't have been so bad if they could at least all dance in time! Pants.

And pauvre, pauvre Cyndi, she could have won it for us you know...

what a load of cr*p on the tv on Sat.

To be honest i didnt rate any of the songs especially Scooch or whatever they are called.I suppose it doesnt matter anyway as Eurovision is really tacky but scooch did remind me of steps.Cheesey pop, i hate it!

I wanted to Cyndi to win! I thought she did a great job! Thank the lord that Brian didn't!!! [oo] but having seen some of the other entries, at least the UK aren't the worst going to Finland! [^] It will be entertaining to watch, and the GREAT Terry Wogan! [oo]

Come on guys, you have to support the UK act, whatever and whoever they are. Granted "Flying The Flag (for you)" isn't the best song in the world ever but at least they put on a show and gave a performace that showed they wanted to win, and who knows what the great Eurovision viewers will decide, we could all be cheering a Scooch victory come May 12th!
