Tokyo has the highest Olympic bid score (8.3) out of the four contenders. I think Tokyo would do a great (and highly efficient) job of hosting the games!

Very true. But Paris fell into the trap of believing they had the games before they got it.

A a lot will depending on the happenings in Copenhagen.

I felt kind of sorry for Qatar, they hosted a brilliant Asia Games a couple of years back but sadly the idea of holding the games in October did not go down well at all.
