That might be amusing if you hadn't jumped on mdvipond's bandwagon. I'm afraid he beat you to it, leaving you looking rather like his little sidekick who can only copy his master. [:p]

As a trained psychologist, I think it's rather more telling about a person who makes negative humour than it is about the original author of the trip report.... but then I am biased. [;)] It may help if you looked at the situation from the point of view of it being a female star that you personally can't help but admire or be attracted to; all the time knowing you can never have them, permitting the attraction to remain regardless of relationship status.

And a what more gracious a sidekick could one hope to have? Although I can't seem to find him right now. Confound it, Mannion, where are you, I need my pipe and slippers?!

Deep breath now, Jackanapes...

Attention, VIPOND and MCGUGHNUAGHGNA...both of you -- yes, you, numpties...

Your feeble attempts at humour have run aground, leaving you both embarrassed and most of us horrified. How dare either of you even begin to entertain the thought that His Grace would serve as...as...as a servant. And Dr. Vipond, of all people...I am especially disappointed in you. [:(!]

I shall now trot out my special needs friend, Neil, to give you both what you deserve: [V]

The shame of it all...honestly, must I maintain eternal vigilance on these fora, or will you and your ilk finally gain some sense and praise Their Graces without fail? One wonders.

Good day to you, sirs!

GJ. Knowing the fanatic fervour with which you regard their Graces (you know, he has all their commerative coins, mugs, teatowels, toilet roll holders etc.) I expected and - perhaps - deserve your disappointment (though I'm not too sure about the 'numpty' part).

However, threatening to set Neil upon me to give me what I 'deserve' has to be deemed as the most cruel and unusual punishment possible. In days of yore, treasonous miscreants were merely hung, drawn and quartered. Surely this would be more fitting and considerably more appealling?

Sitting on his new Bright House sofa in Hull, whilst he describes his day to you, is our new version of the Tower, sir. And you shall certainly suffer that fate if you do not show a little more obeisance toward Their Graces.

Thank you.
