Honey-Lamb! Awww love, we are so sorry, what a bloody shame. We do feel sorry for the post men, but now we are very cross because they have let our dear readers down. (Yes, you also didn't tell us why you felt like a fuddy duddy, that phrase cracks us up, not heard that for ages!) And thank you so much Roxy for your order too, it may well be you get your things before Honey Lamb because of the warehouses full of people's post.

Sy at Bingbong and the guys have had a really difficult time with the strike, it's a killer for a company that relies on the Postal Service like we do. March in WH Smiths at the airport and demand it people! make them stock us!!!!!

Love,

To be honest, I think I was pushing it to expect it should be here this week [:I] since I didn't place my order during the postal strike (We do hear of these happenings over here) but occasionally mail order has really surprised me with the speed they have delivered. Once upon a time I could have gone to the post office on a Saturday whenit stayed open till 4:00pm and they would have given it to me but nowadays the post office closes at 1:00pm and the mail delivery is at 1:45pm [:#]

As for feeling a fuddy duddy - well I think I am the oldest member on the site which freaks me out since mentally I am still only 30-40 something but I felt I wasn't keeping up with some of the Bar Chat on the profile pages, which suddenly made me feel old and out of touch [:#]

Now if you'll excuse me I must just put on my roller blades while I whizz around town on a few errands.

Hiya Darren! How are you love? Really glad the book arrrived, at last post is running normally!

Yes, it's a hearty read, very packed out with stuff, and yes we totally agree the print is small when Readers tel us. BUT! We do have a very good reason for this. Well, we thought that just Crew would read this book, and it would be a touch 'culty' in the aviation world. We wanted it to be the perfect size to pop in to a Crew bag, and we also thought it would be a book Crew would dip in and out of while on board, round a pool or in their hotel rooms. So it was printed at that size so it was very portable, beach bag easy and compact. Also we know the paper is very white, but like the fools we are we insisted it had to be the very best quality so it feels nice under the fingers. Apparently, this isn't as important as we thought!

It's massive actually, 160 thousand words, about double an average paperback, so it really is something to get your teeth in to, and we do apologise about the spelling mistakes (coudn't afford an Editor) But go on and enjoy it, it's rude, cheeky, naughty and we are very proud of it! Honestly, this is how flying is, and this is what makes it such a brilliant thing to do for a career. Hope you really enjoy it Darren, let us know!

Love to everyone here, and thanks so much!

What a lovely welcome we've had from folks on here, and lots of people want to buy our book. We obviously have to warn you all that it is cheeky, rude, naughty, vulgar, vile, thought provoking, heart warming, charming, witty, packed with information and totally, completely and in everyway, absolutley pro-crew and aviation. It's FAB!

Well if you put it like that who am I to say no. I have ordered my copy, because it would be rude not to. Will I giggle a lot?
