Well the next time any of you get to ANU there is a bar called Putters in Dickenson Bay where you can purchase a 'Bushwacker'. Recipes change island to island, and indeed bar to bar but the Putters version will knock your socks off. It tastes like a chocolate milkshake. The difference becomes clear when you try to walk afterwards.....

1pt Vodka
3pt Baileys
1pt Frangleico
1pt Amaretto
2pt Kahlua

Fill blender with small cubes of ice and blend until it is smooth and the consistency of a milkshake. You can add ground nutmeg to the poured drink but thats optional. Play with the recipe until you get something you like, other versions add Grand Marnier or replace the vodka for white or dark rum.

Apart from that a very cold Heineken or an Absolut and Tonic tend to suffice.

Al, rhey are going to change this - the Coke rep told me that the lemon and lime versions of Diet Coke will be disappearing to be replaced by Diet Coke "zest" - a mixture of lemon and lime!! We are getting some samples - and also some of a new "Red Bull" style drink coke are bringing out called "Resilient"!! Hmm? [:w]

I like the lemon version, but am not a great lover of the taste of lime.

Given my current frequent destination it has got to be a singapore sling, but only at the Long Bar in Raffles Hotel... Then again it is probably the most expensive drink in Singapore.

Failing that the Hite and the Cass , gassey korean beer is growing on me, or should I say I am growing on it!

I'm partial to this also, as it takes a little bit of SC's sweetness away, but have never found it outside the USA.
