Weird dream last night. We couldn't find the clubhouse - kept going up and down some stairs, and along various roads, but was totally lost. And panicking - didn't want to miss my massage...

And then, they wouldn't let us in.... go figure....

Silly you - your meant to go up the stairs - that's where you went wrong. I think you ended up at the easyjet lounge by mistake.

Classic anxiety dream, I used to have a very frequently occuring example. I was late for a rugby match, couldn't find the ground ,or my boots, the laces snapped, no kit in my bag, couldn't find the pitch from the changing rooms and it went on and on, coincided with the time I hung up my rugby boots.

I have no real idea what triggered it off - it's pretty rare that we are able to travel UC, so maybe it's just a general anxiety that there'll be a traffic hold up or something and don't get to the CH in time for our treatment (and food).

Pathetic, I know.....[:(]

Oh, OK. Was going to suggest you just rung up virgin and booked it a little earlier. Hell, you'll love the lounge - if you havn't been before that is, don't mean to imply anything - so why not just leave earlier than you are currently planning. Worst that can happen is that you have to have a couple of extra glasses of bubbly. And why not take the lounge telephone number with you - then you can ring ahead if you are held up and reorganise things.

There, an end to bad dreams.

That's the strangest thing - we always leave too early - work back from the time we need to be there and then factor in loads of extra time - so there shouldn't be a problem. But try telling my sub-conscious that!

Yes. I made an assumption there. Sorry. Crawley Airport number is 01293 444 342

You do know you can book treatments in advance don't you?

Indeed. I should be starting with my VS related anxiety dreams about now being, as I am, less than four weeks away from my next flight. Mine usually involve running late, being at the wrong airport or - horror of horrors - being downgraded, sometimes forcibly.

I had one once where I knew I had an UC boarding pass in my clammy little mitt - it was purple, it had J written on it and everything - but every time I showed it to a member of crew they insisted, with a sneer, that I'd made a mistake, that it was clearly for Y, and shoved me down the back. Next to to a toilet. And, as the old saying goes, that's when I woke up, coated in a cold sweat, screaming 'Nooooo!'...

Which you could probably cancel with a full refund, unless it is today you are leaving.

Of course it may be better not to book a limo with miles. After all, having spent your miles getting to the airport, and successfully checking in, they may off-load you. Just a thought[}:)][:#]

Better than mine, I'm afraid. Or is that worse? I just have dreams I'm in the terminal, and my bag is either in the now-departed CDC car or, horrors, back at the hotel. I can't find it, it's the last flight of the day, I can't get out of the airport and I can't get my bag back. At all. If the dream continues and I do finally get out of the airport, it's not at the hotel, I can't even find the driver, and if I make it back to the airport (usually I'm lost on the roadway in the dream, and I don't usually get lost while I'm awake) then the terminal's missing, or the airline, or the plane itself, and then the ticket's gone, even in the system... forget even getting on the plane, no matter in Y - at least you got on the stinking plane! [:p]

Once I had this dream about the CH being up a flight of steps reminescent of a Mayan temple - you know, the steps straight up to the clouds, risers higher than your shins are long, and not something one climbs with a wonky knee - and a desk dragon saying sweetly, 'If you can climb it, of course you may keep your trim appointment, Ms. vs_i!' To add insult to injury as I climbed, a bird tried to nest in my hair. I never made it halfway... my knee was even aching when I woke up! [:0][:0]

Travel nightmares - you know, I've seen all sorts of travel memoirs, but I've never seen one of travel nightmares. Maybe I should pitch one to my agent? [i]

Nothing to do with VF or VS..but a couple of weeks ago I had a dream about climbing through tree's singing Elton John songs [:0]

No idea what the heck that is supposed to mean..but it had me wondering what the hell I ate the night before.

You can go off people very quickly, you know...;) God, where would I stand if they did that, miles-wise? Maybe it'd be one for egg[}:)]
