Just bought myself a new Kodak Photo Printer 300 from PC World for the bargin price of just £24.87!! (the price on the shelf was £29.99 as well [8D])

It's a PictBridge enabled printer so as long as your digi-cam is PictBridge enabled you dont even need to use a PC to print photos (although it does come with a USB cable so you can easliy print from your PC as well). It's also Vista/MAC/Unix compatable too (some O/S's are via a free online software upgrade).

It comes with a 10 pack print cartridge/photo paper kit. It is an end of line printer but you can still buy new print kits for it (in packs of 40, 80 or 160).

The 40 pack kits are about £15, the 80 around £30 and the 160 around £40 (although I've found Dixons to be the lowest price online selling them for £32+£5 delivery)

It's very easy to use and set-up and is quite portable too.

It takes about 90 secs to print one 6" x 4" photo and the quality is excellent (as good as lab printed photos). Far far better than ink-jet or colour laser printed photos (it uses dye sublimation so the photos come out dry straight away)

I've been looking at photo printers for a while now this one is highly recommended for the average home user, especially for the price (although there's not many left in PC World and it only prints 6x4 size photos, although that is a pretty standard average photo size).

Regards
