Tonight I am on driving duty (I volunteered) so not a drop of booze for HWV.

So it will be a glass of fizzy water at midnight but the toast will be the same..........that all our New Years are full of exciting travels, happiness and good fortune......starting with me winning the lottery

I hope all v-flyers have a prosperous 2011 with many beeps at the gate and much turning left.

And I'll add my Happy New Year greetings from the Clubhouse.

The airport is so quiet - bag drop to Clubhouse sub 10 minutes. Just left the Brasserie as 2 other people came in, 3 in the Den (all snoozing and covered up with blankets) and I'm on my own in the Library. Not been up the other end yet but I doubt if there are 20 people in here all told.

Ham hock, poached egg and rosti digesting, Daught's gone shopping, glass of fizz in hand......and relax!
