Mine would be:

A proper cup of tea (even if you take tea bags with you it doesn't taste the same due to different milk etc)

My own bed

A proper home cooked meal.

On a holiday type trip I don't really miss much nowadays. I actually quite like a break from the norm.

It used to be keeping in touch and knowing what was going on (basically the fear of missing something), but thanks to the Internet and things like iPhones that isn't an issue anymore.

My cat(s)
My own bed
A nice cup of tea
Easy internet access since I only have a dumbphone

My (now singular) cat is at least pleased to see me on our return :) . His equally loved (but now departed) companions would ignore me for days :0 .
My bed for me too and my supersoft pillows.
I also miss my car (hire cars are never very exciting).
And last but by no means least, Dragonbaby (who strangely never seems to be particularly pleased to see us ): ).

I get the quiet treatment from my cats for about 30 minutes, then the tin of tuna is opened and all is forgiven!

Luggage? Moi ?? :D I have taken them but the worry of bed bug contamination negated the pleasure of their comfort. DL the Elder consults the bed bug registry (for such a thing exists :$ :$ ) on a virtually daily basis when a trip is imminent.

The brilliant British Broadcasting Corporation;

(you only realise how good it is when you haven't got it!)

And, embarrassingly, the old Xbox360. Start getting twitchy after a couple of days. (Still, Gears of War 3 is out in September - mustn't be away on release date...)

Espresso coffee maker (as with tea, never the same away from home), own bedding and as already mentioned, own pillows. Took ages to find the right ones!Actually - have been known to buy new ones when away, am building quite a stock!

Also miss my kids, but with the net, it's so much easier to stay in touch (maybe they wish otherwise!) and my little grandson, who seems to evolve into a different person each time lol

Miss my bed - it's almost big enough to escape my husband when he snores,
Miss my kids and parents - although it's a lot cheaper if they don't come,
Miss my teddies Harry and Sally - had them since a child and sleep better!
Miss my wardrobes - the clothes I suddenly need are usually still in them!
and agree about the tea, I pack my own but the milk changes the taste.

I don't really miss much when I'm on Holiday to be honest, I'm usually too busy exploring and enjoying the local joys of wherever I am.

Although having said that we rehomed a Dog (Rockie) from Battersea in January and I am already worrying about how he will be when we go to Cuba next year ii) ii) , Deliberately booked a UK holiday for this year so we could take him with us as with him being a rescue dog I don't ever want him to feel abandoned.

Ditto own bed and a decent cup of tea...

Also, my electric guitar (although I think my neighbours like the peace and quiet when I'm away!.

My garden - there's something about a garden you care for, and just sitting out there with the British birdsong all around you....

And like many others:
