As I missed you guys and gals so much last year and couldn't make the west coast trip, pencil me and Mr Grumpy in. Depends on dates and which country we are in but I'm in UK a lot more this year so fingers crossed.

Hmmm, not knowing when or where, but it does sound like fun.
Please pencil me in (although non FVC member?) and my Tom as well--although if it's formal dress, he may well balk, never really having outgrown the Aer John stage...[ii]

Greetings fellow V-Flyers!

I hope everyone is well and looking forward to Spring [:)]

We are in the final stages of firming up details of this years Virgin Holidays party. As you know it will be our 21st Birthday party so will be bigger and better than anything that has gone before [y]

Although details are not fully confirmed I am delighted to give you heads up...

Date: Saturday 9th September 2006
Venue: Addington Palace, Croydon
Price: approx 70 (TBC)

What's included:
'Rock the Casbah' theme with sit down themed buffet, live band, entertainment throughout the evening, all drinks included (except Champers) and plenty of fab prizes up for grabs!

There is no accommodation at the venue, however we are able to offer some excellent prices for some nearby hotels from 55 per room per night with transport included to and from the hotel.

Please liaise with Richard if you would like to attend.

I've just spoken to the lovely Sarah about this, and we have 3 tables set aside at the moment for this. So if you would like to go, then please let me know again as a means of confirmation.

I will add your name to my list, as we will then all be seated together. Payment will be taken when the event goes on sale properly next month. In regards to payment, I will work with Sarah on the best method of you each paying - most likely to either involve you having to call up the bookign line, or supplyign me with a contact nubmer/e-mail address so the event team can contact you direct for payment.

I will update the front page as people confirm their attendance.

Thanks,
Richard

Count me in too!

Looking at where the venue is and dependent on when it all ends, I might even chance getting home afterwards.

Jason

You will be pleased to know that kindly Southern Rail run an hourly service through the night from East Croydon - what you do when you get to Victoria, is of course, another matter[:w][:w]

Just stay - you know it makes sense[}:)][:p][:D][}:)]

Sleep on the floor will probably be the only option...[:)]

Got a letter from VH this morning inviting me to the party, so I guess it's now been made public and we should firm up our V-Flyer tables. Going by past history, these things sell out fast.

It's now also on the VH Web Site as well. Tickets will be on sale from May 1st.

Having just re-read Richard's original post [:I]:

Remember that tickets go on sale on 1st May, and will sell quickly! So what you need to do, is as soon as you can after 1st May, phone up and book your tickets and mention you are part of the V-Flyer attendees (this way they can keep us all together and take into account the FVC waiver piece).

We need to call 0208 390 15555 from May 1st to book direct. For those of use booking accom, which of the 2 hotels are we going for?
