You'd be surprised Nick. The deal we're looking at would come in at $800/head for a Citation X ...

That being the case, there must be room for yours truly aboard. Please, oh, please.

Hi Andy, a couple of weeks ago, when we booked our second G for 14/5, FC said there were still 6 G's left....guess they've all been snapped up on recent days? Maybe VS revenue will open up some more [:?]

Cheers

Total bummer about the G's on the 14th, though there are 4 G's on the Friday and 6 on the Saturday, which is weird?

Thanks,
Sarah

Not sure if the San Francisco Marriott is of any interest but I think I've stumbled on what appears to be a pretty amazing deal!

http://www.hotelamerica.co.uk/ are offering four nights (14/5 thru 17/5), double room for 600 incl tax. Expedia & Ebookers are coming in between 1400 & 1500. Marriott's own site is quoting over $400 per night. Reviews on Tripadvisor generally highly positive. Centrally located 5 mins from Union Sq. So have booked!

Cheers,
James

Alas, at the moment I'm not really in a position to make a booking for this myself, much as I would have liked to swig rum punches run across SF again.

Not enough miles in my account currently after raiding them for 2 Gs to the US in October, and with the credit crunch I'm not so sure my regular work isn't going to dry up - so I'm being a tad careful at the moment. So unless Paul's flying in J again, I probably ain't going [;)]

We have stayed there before - the Bar at the top is nice and is the place Dean discovered the joys of the Appletini. The hotel opened on the day of SF's last large earthquake - every glass in the bar was smashed apart from 1 martini glass, which is now on display with the neck of a bottle of rather expensive Cognac.

Currently sat in the Clubhouse on our way to meet Ben in DC.

Because there may be quite a few of us on the flight out to SF I've made some enquiries. Once we know numbers nearer the time if we are looking at a small group of us we can put a request into the Concierge a few days before the flight and they will reserve the Sky Loft for us and allocate a member of staff to look after us with lots of drinks and champers! Could make for a great start to the trip - a V-Flyer party in the CH. Those not in Upper I'm sure there will be enough Gold and Upper flyers to extend guest invites.
