I can view it Tink (on Win7/Firefox). Are you using your browser on the Mac? If so, that will be the issue. Try saving it locally and opening with a PDF reader maybe?

Thanks,
Sarah

A quick suggestion, the St Pancras Grand Restaurant (as opposed to the Champagne bar just outside)? Not too posh, but equally it's definitely no dive. I think it fits the v-flyer demographic pretty well.

Yes indeed, I ate there last year and it was lovely [:)]

Cheers

Have tried opening it/saving it on Safari, Opera and Firefox so far with no luck!

Opening it in the browser/opening it in Preview also brings the same results.

Have finally managed to view the menu in Photoshop of all programs - very odd as this is the only PDF I have had problems seeing.

Opinion on the menu - [:$]

After looking at the menu, I think that the choice of food is very limited and boring and there is no imagination in it whatsoever. For the setting it has you would think that it would have a better menu.

For me personally, I would have a choice of one dish which is unacceptable.

I have to say that I'm with Tinks on this. There is very little to suit me. OK so it is a sample menu but.......

Appreciate the feedback Decker[y]

Coupled with the comments above, looks like this place might net an overwhelming 'Yes'

I will come back tomorrow with some options where we might be able to get a private room in the nearby locality

OK two last punts, although the price points might not be right: Fredericks and Almeida.

Both locations are perfect for Islington/Angel and the King's Head.

I haven't been for a long time to Fredericks, but I used to work around the corner. In those days, it was the local de facto standard for decent nosh.

Almeida is a Conran/D&D - like Quaglinos - so be wary of sometimes indifferent service and food.

So we seem to have 3 options.

Scouts in Bondage
Posh Nosh with Tony & Cherie
Curry & Beer.

Can someone set up Poll please.

I am sure we will all end up in the pub eventually anyway.

Just to add to the mix, Fredericks is always a good choice but can't do a curry and don't drink beer!
