No but then I didn't do it last year....

How do those us who didn't do the run last time register for '09? Like Decker says, I haven't received an email?

Cheers

Thinking about it, perhaps we should start putting a plan together for the party bus, hotels etc and any post race side trips like Vegas.

We should all go for the 'under 2 hours' block. When Reiffer first hinted at it last year I didnt think I'd do it in that time but its plenty, even if you are intending on walking the majority of the course.

Totally agree that we need to sort out the 'rescue' vehicle to take us back to the hotel after the race, and somewhere to have post race Margaritas like we did in the Cheesecake Factory last time [:)]

Thanks,
Sarah

Meant to attend this year but was in the midst of a job change. Hope to be there next May, however. Have begun training!

Slander! It was actually 1:18:58 and no I did not get a taxi! It does help if you don't stop off at the moving Tiki bar Shaw....

I did it under 2 hours whilst still swigging rum punches on Haight Hill.

It was a proud day.

The Fairmont seems to be on offer via Expedia: Every 3rd nt free, so 4 nts (Thurs to Mon) is 545.

There is an offer at Mandarin Oriental where you can buy 3nts, and get 1 free which works out at $250/nt.

The Hilton Financial Distrcit is from ~$150/nt

Awaiting corporate and FHR rates.

Okay, thanks to the rather discrete Upper Class sale finally booked flights on the party bus. We're flying out on the 14th and sipping G&T's in the A zone with James and Steve [:D]

Not sure on hotels, Marriott is looking best so far, as long as its booked through a specific site.

All booked now too. Out on the 14th, downstairs, pointy bit and back on the 22nd. Same here with hotels, hopefully some good offers will start cropping up.

Now, do I take a side trip to Scrooge City????

Bring on the mojitos, G&T and of course champagne too. Treatments, food and all the other lovelies to follow....

Looks like that pointy bit is getting little on the full side now[;)]

Should be a great party

Seat map only shows 15 or so seats available in Upper so anyone else, snooze and you could lose. No idea how many in bucket but Expertflyer shows

Netflights has some good prices at the moment.

May 14 to May 18 4 nights

Westin St Francis - 360 -
Marriot 4th St - 522
MO - 822 (about the same as their 4 nights, pay for 3 San Francisco Four More deal)

Edit: The St Francis deal has now disappeared.

What did you book Darren?

The Westin St Francis. At that price, it struck me as a bit too good to miss out on at 2 in the morning. Looks like Netflight either messed up or had a one-shot room.

Hopefully some more may pop up.

Thank you for the corporate rates though, but even they couldn't beat this price.
