Umm... If there's enough of us at the Hilton, is it worth contacting VH to see if they can arrange anything for/with us? (After all, they'll be saving coach seats from the hotels we're not staying at... [:I])

Hi Guys,

Wow, looks like you lot have been busy whilst we have been away in IAD. I'm looking at the Hilton site at the moment;

Remember the stuid rate system that they use, HHonors members are allowed to have their partner stay FOC, which does make a difference. If you enter 2 people, you won't see the #75 rate that Mcuth found inc breakfast. If you enter 1 person, you will see the rate, you will also see a #76 rate for a suite (but no breakfast, but as a Gold/Diamond VIP you could ask for it).

I will possibly drive from the Hilton to the venue, not sure yet. So could take 3 revellers. Also happy to pick anyone up enroute if it helps.

Thanks,
Richard

Saw the suite rate but prepayment required and was unsure on cancellation policy - so erred on the side of caution [:)].

Guys

Have had a few daytime distractions during the past couple of days, but have the telphone numbers of a few local coach companies who say they can provide 24 seaters.

hopefully will get some time tomorrow to check them out and I will get back to you

Buns... you driving a bus? [:)]

Going on my previous post, the stupid HH system is trumps again. If the rate description ends with BB, then it does include Breakfast, even if the front summary description doesn't mention it.

So going on the previous post, just booking an advance purchase room with breakfast now for 60 (I stated one adult, as the system doesn't take the guest stays free HHonors benefit into consideration).

Thanks,
Richard

It has been known[;)] (In my scouting days, I frequently drove a 24 seater - so would be quite used to 'unruly' behaviour[}:)][}:)])

On this occasion I am checking out companies who will pick up at the Hilton and drop off at the Addington Palace and return

Paul did mention the 60 rate on page 4, but the flex rate suits me better bearing in mind my previous record of making breakfast.[:)]

Just to let you know, the VH e-mail letter includes this piece but a word of warning

the telephone number has too many digits in it for an outer London number

Good shout - that's the number LRoM has in the opening post in this thread too. I've just submitted my ticket details on the website, added 'V-Flyer party' in brackets after the attendee name....

Cheers
