Hi,

I booked a car using miles on Wednesday last week. Just checked my miles and they haven't gone down......

Does flying club send confirmation of the booking? Not too worried at the moment, as my flight is not for a good couple of months.

I've never used the service before, and can't find any information about it.

Phone FC again to confirm the booking.

Then phone again the day before you fly just to confirm.

Then phone on the day if the car is more than 5 mins late. My parents and I have much history with limo bookings going missing.

And when you are overseas, phone the local VS office to confirm -- I've never had a CDC booking in the UK go missing, but I've had a couple of cars in the US not turn up.

If you've provided them with a mobile number, they'll send you a text message as the car arrives in the UK.
