The Ashes are going for a tour of Australia.

According to this report, the 4 inch high urn will have its own UC suite for the trip. [8D];).

SRB isn't slow to milk the publicity (no surprises there. [8D];) )

The Daily Mail print edition today has a photo of the urn in its suite, but the online edition doesn't seem to have it.

Wonder if it will get its own 'snooze pack' [:w]

More importantly, Nick, will it get it's own red satin cushion? I understand our own V-flyer expert on the transportation of ashes, egg, never moves an urn without a Gucci and Mont Blanc stand cushion, and were it to be transported 'san support suitable' Prieffer would have a thing or two to say!

I meant that it's a waste of money spending £3000 on a seat for an urn.;)

That little urn needs all the protection it can get - It has so many cracks in it that all the Ashes orginally sealed inside must have escaped by now.....[:w]

Wonder if the Urn was travelling on a D or a J and got itself a free limo transfer aswell as a flat bed for a few hours....[:p]

I would be surprised if MCC are paying for the seat. Just this about this from the other side.

What a good deal for SRB! Offering a £3,000 or rather an award seat which would be a non-revenue seat for all this free advertising for VS. That's a bargain
