Dont know if anyone else has noticed, but the update booking section of the VS web site has had a make-over. Not sure when this happened either.

Hmmmmmmm I wonder where they got the idea for a countdown timer from [:w] [:w]

I think the link to hotels being available for your journey is new also. I Like the way it displays the prices without you having to enquire...:D

Just saw this discussion and went straight to the site to view.

All I can see is my outbound flight even when I enter the return flight details. It used to be on the system - is this some new feature?

Is anybody else having trouble viewing their flight details in the manage my booking section? I tried yesterday when this thread was first started and it said there was an error and I have just tried again now and get the same problem with just the list of VS contact numbers and a note to say that an error occurred[:?].

Yes, same here, but it works when putting the details in manually.

Thanks for that - it works when I enter the details in manually, but it only shows my outbound flights and not the inbound ones, even when I put the inbound dates in. Is this just me being thick and I am just missing something or has anybody else got this problem?

Had to check both my flights manually, the February one was fine but couldn't get up the flight for my April one.

Shedule change again, as I thought, the VS27 is now departing at 10.45 instead of 11.15

Slightly different issue but either I am being very stupid or has the option to add a stopover in HKG been removed from flights to SYD?

Ignore that post - I was searching for lights +3/-3 days and it doesn't let you do a stopover. You have to put the exact date in.

ISTR a memo at work about the US changing the dates they change the clocks for daylight saving, could it be that this is causing a lot of flight times to be changed?

Daylight saving starts on March 11 in the USA and finishes on Nov 4 this year

yes, when i go in manually, it shows outbound as MCO-LGW on 15th Dec, but not the real outbound of LGW-MCO on 1st Dec, which is not even there as an inbound (which in computer logic makes sense as how can you be inbound on a date beofre you are outbound I suppose....)

My April flight was showing the exact same thing - MCO-LGW as the outbound. It was because of the schedule change and after calling Premier it has been updated OK.

Well, the makeover didn't last long:

Unfortunately we have had to temporarily suspend the update booking facility, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We will reinstate it on the 1st February but if you are travelling before then please contact us on the numbers on the following page.

It was very slow when i checked my flights yesterday - is that normal?

Personally, i preferred the old look. I found it look a lot longer to locate and edit my information.

Thanks,
Sarah

Just saw that myself - things on the site seem to have been flaky in various ways since that issue they had a couple of weeks ago that took it offline.

Your telling me!
Before it went down I noticed that while to log in I needed to enter my correct 9th Feb travel date (as per my E tickets) the itinery shows a travel date of 9th March[:0] .
However, the countdown clock and seat plan functionality all seem to refer to the correct travel date - I therefore assume that OLCI will be ok also . Technology eh!

I've got a quiet 5 minutes at work so thought I'd check my flight details.

If I enter my booking reference and flight details for my outbound flight, I get the details for my return flight, although it calls it my outbound flight. The countdown timer also relates to the return flight. There is no sign of my outbound flight details at all.

I'm hoping this is just a glitch in the system. Is anybody else having a problem?

The problem will be because your actual outbound flight will have had a schedule change (ours was by 20mins). You will need to give FC a call and they will update the system which will then allow you to see it in the manage my booking section.

When I put in my locator number, confirmed by TA and VA, and all the details, it tells me my booking can't be found, despite selecting the seat over the phone! It's annoying as I can't add my flying club number or check the have indeed given me the seats I want.

Any ideas?
