Can't wait to hear what Alonso has to say in the press conference. Brilliant drive by Lewis, not phased by Alonso pushing him so hard, just a great, great, drive.

Alonso beaten fair and square. Only sniff he had was when Lewis was held up by a car he was lapping, and even then Lewis held him off with fantastic defensive driving...

Cmon the British GP.......

Wow! What can you say. Not seen the race yet (on at 2am here in Singapore). But despite knowing the result I'm looking foward to watching the repeat later this evening.
And with Alonso's nose being so put out of joint it is shaping up to be an amasing season, both on and off track.... Roll on Silverstone!

The car/team has a lot to do with it but in my view its down to the driver- it isnt about driving a car fast- its about how well you do in the turns, how you have your car set up etc. Schumacher was an excellent driver- always good even in his early days at Jordan.

I think a good car isn't everything; look at Alonso - he won the championship with Renault (IIRC) and look where they are without him.

Thats because the Renault is a poor car this year, even with Alonso this year they would be nowhere near the front. I am still on the opinion that the car is the most important factor in F1, Lewis is doing very very well, but put him in a Redbull or Toyota and it would be a totally different story.

It was interesting to see Flavio on the pit wall, I thought he had retired?

I think he has lost interest in the sport and wouldn't be surprised to see him quit at the end of the season. He has made some comments about F1 being boring etc and don't think he likes it when he's not winning.
