Yes you can - I have some in the medicine cabinet.

If mdvipond jr's spots turn out to be the real McCoy then maybe we could bring our youngest over and get it over and done with.

Incidentally we were told that only if you get CP after your second birthday can you be reasonably certain of immunity from further outbreaks. Since we're over in the States at Christmas we might look into getting aforementioned youngest a jab as seems to be the custom there.

It may be a little late in the day to offer this advice and is difficult in practice but do try to stop mdvipond minor scratching the scabs when they form. We didn't manage this with The Favoured One and his otherwise handsome countenance (takes after his mother) is still, 19 years on, marred by a number of scars.

** Breaking News ** Spot Update **
** Suspected Chickenpox Outbreak at mdvipond estate ** Day 3 **

We've been passed a statement from the official spokesman for the mdviponds and can now reveal exclusively that mdvipond jr. still has no further spots and that she did, if fact, wake her parents this morning singing 'The Wheels On The Bus'. This is seen as further evidence toward the theory that this suspected outbreak of chickenpox is, as previously suggested, 'a bit of a rash'.

The statement offered the heartfelt thanks of the mdviponds for the kind words received from well-wishers at this difficult time. The mdviponds would also like to assure any parents of younger children that should mdvipond jr.'s condition worsen they're welcome to come round mdvipond Towers with their offspring and - preferably - a bottle of wine.

Our political correspondent informs us that COBRA, the world's only crisis committee named after a brand of lager, has been stood down.
