Look at it this way Sarah, by Ben being shot, how does he kill everyone in the Dharma camp, does the island heal Ben, does Sayid become the leader of the others, it opens so many paths for the story to go down, not forgetting of course that Jack is in the Dharma camp so there is a great surgeon to save Ben ?

Yeah I wondered if Ben being killed as a child meant that he wouldnt exist in the future timeline, but I dont know if that is the case. Didnt Daniel say something about time being a line? I guess we'll see more next week - like whether Ben is still on the 'other' island where Sun had left him, or whether he has gone completely.

I dont see us any closer to understanding this show LOL

Thanks,
Sarah

Well what a great episode.

So does Sayid undertake the big purge of Dharma? It wouldn't surprise me? Is Ben actually dead in c 1975? How on earth is Sayid going to get the others to accept him?

I also think that Oldham could have a much bigger role to play. I noticed on Lostpedia that when Sayid was in Moscow there were constant references to 'Oldham Pharmaceuticals'. Knowing Lost there will be some significance of that. They also seem to think that Amy has a much larger role to play, even suggesting she is an 'other'.
