Emirates A380 Seat Advice ?

I have a flight coming up shortly to Jakarta via Dubai, and my timing allows me to take the A380 for the first time.

The seating choice I have is only on the upper deck, and I wanted some advice as to where to sit.

I am traveling alone, so I was planning to pick one of the single seats, but did n't know wether it was worth sitting further forward or towards the back.

Upperdeck on the A380 is definately the place to be. A window seat gives you that extra feeling of seclusion and would definately be my first choice. The divider can definitely feel like it's not enough, especially when compared to the divider in UC - and you can be quite close to another passenger in the centre. Seats A and K are the choice ones, having the most room. E and F also do, but may be uncomfortable as to what I alluded to earlier. B, D, G and J have the least. The difference comes because all seats have been given aisle access, and so the aisle seats have to allow room for the outermost and innermost seats to gain access to the aisle, and those seven or eight inches are lost in leg room.

Try to avoid middle cabin, in rows 6, & 22 if you can since you're traveling solo.

Since the entire deck is almost J, the choice is much more open that when flying with VS. Bar is towards the back of the plane, so if you want to avoid queues/wandering/chatter, stay towards the middle/front. With the galley at the front of the J cabin.
