Hi, 1st time flyer ever not just with Virgin; so have little to base my experience on, other than my experience and expectation

Good Things about the journey
1)Manchester Airport itself; clean & interesting
2)Check In lady was friendly
3)Toilets were clean throughout
4)Nice pillow and blanket
5)Food was ok

Bad Things
1)Flight delayed by 40 mins
2)No window at 34A
3)Scratched screen
4)Temperamental Headphone socket - slightest touch and sound was lost
5)Unable to check in online
6)Not given seats we had 'pre-booked' therefore my family of four were split up - 3&1 in front; I had pre-booked four together across the middle
7)Ran out of headsets, chicken & mushroom main meal and sandwich choice

Sorry Virgin, after all I had been told and heard it was a disappointing and poor experience overall.

Sorry to hear your first flight was such a disappointment - you should write to customer service as VS need to know when they fail to deliver.

Too bad about your flight atleast your destination will have made up for a lack lustre performance by virgin.

Unfortunately seats are only a request and there are only so many 4's in the middle and 3 and 1 in front or behind is together. There's no other way to do it!
