Thanks Tink,

Whilst I didn't like the Spring menu, the other half does not like any of the starters on the summer menu. I like the chowder, the beef, but do not like the desserts. Other half likes the beef and desserts though. Roll on the 31st July.

I've also just noticed that the chowder is actually served IN the broad roll. Interesting !

As always Tinkerbelle, thanks for posting. Do you know if the improved UC meal service is on all routes, or just the USA?

Alex V wrote:Is the Dubai menu the same as this or will it be different and if so what route does it typically appear on, ie: uk-us ?

cheers

This menu is for flights departing the USA. The Dubai menu from LHR is similar to flights to the US albeit with some changes - ie no pork. The menu leaving Dubai is totally different.

I believe the new outbound menu starts on 1 June - so you'll definitely have it on your flight to Boston.

Scrooge wrote:That actually looks like a good menu, no complaints from me this time.

I had this last Saturday - it was dire. The soup starter was a joke, small, poor tasting and cold, the steak was miserable since it tasted of plastic and the accompanying potatoes and green beans were over cooked, even the lemon tasted of, well nothing really other than flour!

I hope it improves, maybe I had a bad flight ... But it was worse than a roadside cafe.

Hopefully you had a bad flight - we had nothing but praise for the menu the other day. We all thought it was of a much better quality than before.

Well I hope it does - even the pudding, usually and sadly the best part of the meal was awful.

Wow, now that menu I like y) I only hope I will be able to get my first choice on my next flight to SFO in June.
Anyone know what nibbles are served with drinks on this flight?
