Hi, I am on VS27 to MCO this Thursday traveling UC. I purchased my tickets at the 11 month window, and ever since have been keeping an eye on the flight and general availability.

For the last 3-4 months it has generally been sold out, with the odd couple of seats coming and going in all classes, but for the last month it has constantly been showing as full. However, all of a sudden there are now 3 seats free in UC.

Could someone please explain how this could happen...No reason other than idle curiosity.....

Many thanks,

As I work in the department that's responsible for booking all you chaps onto flights, it's easy enough for seats to become availible at short notice; Late cancellations, schedule changes, revenue management releasing a few more seats, the overbook limit being increased....the list could go on and on....

Remember that full fare business class and a lot of corporate deals have no cancellation fees on them so they can pick and choose when they fly, all you need is one person to not be available for a meeting and the other three cancel and fly out the next day/week.
