:? Not really treated as a terrorist surely, more as they would any passenger that was judged (rightly or wrongly) to be unruly. Potentially an OTT response that could have been better handled, but the report doesn't include any description of the passenger's behaviour when he complained.

I once bought a sandwich on an easyJet flight. Let's just say it was an experience from which I learned a valuable lesson.

I find the comments on the article revealing..."Ryanair fly the dregs around". Says a lot about whoever penned those words.

When I was in 6th Form it was rumoured that our school lunches were prepared at the local prison. They were actually pretty good :)

Deffo an over-reaction.

IF he was behaving as badly as Ryanair believe he was where are the reports from other passengers?

BUT what on earth is the sandwich?

Where is the Currant Bun when you need it to run a "Terror at 35,000 Feet!" splash.

"People were crying and praying" said Mrs Trellis of North Wales "this chap was staring intently at something and muttering to himself in a foreign language. The crew pleaded with us to stay calm, saying it was just a sandwich, but it certainly didn't look like one to me."

Mr Wolf evidently has a forgiving nature; a translation of the article comes up with the line "I like to fly Ryanair again, cheap and accurate, but should I eat before departure".

The Police reaction tells a lot:
Three waiting cops burst out laughing when details emerged.

I rather like the Norwegian translation:
When I did explain to me what had happened, laughed raw police and said I should just get me home

One way to get priority disembarkation.
