Hi all,
My party of 8 are flying to mco via JFK on vs003, one of our party is disabled and of limited mobility. I have spoken to special assistance and they said they would request bulkhead seat but they are not guaranteed as reserve for young babies/ families.
Last year when she flew vs she had a seat that the divider in front that was put down?!?
Having been on an airbus not sure what that is. Please can someone clarify which row numbers I should be hoping for and the possible likely hood that they will not honour the request. We are going to get to airport really early probably 5am for 6am checkin desk opening to maximise our chances. Also should I do online checkin or is this not possible with the bulkhead request.
Many thanks for your help.
Andy

Ps sorry if post is confusing it's my first post sent on my iPhone !

My only experience was seeing a family with an older teenager with mobility problems at row 21 (I think) on 747 - we were also in the same row at the bulkhead with a sky cot. This row is just behind downstairs pe section. Please forgive me if I am not checking this info ref exact row number as I am replying quickly on iPhone.
Hope you sort it out.
Best wishes
J

You mentioned a moveable divider so I assume that last time you travelled it was on a A343 in row 42DEFG as in front of this row is a divider that is lowered for take-off and landing.

However you are travelling on the VS003 which is normally operated by a A346. On this aircraft the bulkhead seats are 31DEFG, 43DEFG and 51DEFG.

Thankyou holidaygirl and tinkerbelle

So let me see if I have this correct. My sisters last flight to Washington must have been on a 343 as it had a droppable bulk head, vs003 is usually a 346 so will not have dropable bulk head.

Sorry for my questions buy having only ever flown on 744 with virgin I wasn't sure what my sister meant about the bulk heads.

Thanks
Andy
