Very tempted for a wee trip to BGI in March, but BA still come out cheaper by 400GBP for the 4 of us in Club. That would be my car hire for 2 weeks :?

Prices are about 2K cheaper than when I checked last week though so nice one VS/BA

Hmmm.

BA are higher to JNB than VS by £200 - BA actually put the JNB fares up as I have been monitoring that route - and Virgin's JNB fare hasn't been reduced from the previous "sale" that they are now promoting.

This sale is a bit phoney.

I think it is a sale to get people who were waivering to book rather than a sale to get people to go "Wow! What a bargain, let's book it out of the blue"

There isn't the capacity for that kind of sale at the moment and the yields are creeping back up and people are prepared to pay a bit more this year.
