OK, I know Tinks will be posting this in good time and I won't make this a sticky but today/yesterday (I'm only just back home) the new menu was on VS18. It was so new they even hadn't got the printed menu and we had a typed sheet on our seats so Tinks can flesh it out more.
Starters
Grilled prawns and spicy lentils with eggplant confit
Asparagus soup with horseradish creme (delicious)
Entrées
Braised short ribs with bordelaise sauce
Seared mahi mahi, finger potatoes, basil tomato concasse
Caramelised onion tart with asparagus sauce (again delicious but the sauce was actually the soup!)
Desserts
Hot filled carrot bundtlet with walnut pieces
Raspberry bakewell tart with raspberry sauce (nice but the sauce was too sweet even for me)
No mention of the cheeses.
The crew didn't even know the wines as they couldn't check till after take-off
The breads were garlic, wholemeal and I can't remember what!
