Planing to visit Barbados this year and its been over 2.5 years since I have been on VS upper class - Any changes at at in the service I should know about / Do al the aircraft now have VOD?
Has Gatwick lounge improved at all

If the flight is operated by an LHR 744 then yes but if it is operated by an LGW 744 then no.

Nothing changed really, although food has been better this year. The LGW fleet are not AVOD yet, they are being done late next year. The LGW lounge had a refit last year.

If you're on a flight that stop in Barbados only ie. doesn't go onto another island, then you have a very good chance of having AVOD.

I have priced these flights and VS are miles out - nearly 40/45% higher than BA - Are VS losing it?

When are you wanting to fly? Maybe VS have already sold the cheaper fare codes while BA haven't, what fare code is VS in? There could be many reasons for the price difference.

June 2011 -

BA from Dublin in J class to Barbados - 6892euros for 4 adults inc Dub/Gat economy flights -

VS - 12503 euros - ot ic flights to /from Dublin

Are all the BA 777 now fitted with the new J class?
