Hi all,

I'm flying on VS045 to JFK on the 7th (weather permitting!) and it's showing as a 747 on the seat map. I just wondered what the best way was to get on the upper deck in economy? Is OLCI the best way or should I give them a call?

Cheers,

Oli

I was in a similar situation a couple of weeks ago when I wanted the bubble for PE seats.

If the seats don't already show up then they will do (if there are any left) during online check-in. Just go through the procedure as normal and when checked in you'll get the option to change seats. Obviously you'll want to use OLCI as soon as it opens, 24hrs before scheduled departure.

That's what I have heard too. I heard that if they can, they won't put any Y up there as it upsets some UC pax...

Just as a follow up to everyone's suggestions - looked at the seat map around 8am today (4 hours before OLCI for VS45 opens) and grabbed 76K in the bubble!

I may well try for an exit seat tomorrow (one row ahead) although I'm at pains to part with £50 in order to have the responsibility to open the door! ;)

Yes they are.

Except for G-VROC which has no ife and tray table on the exit seats upstairs due to VS trying to get it out of maintence quickly and not having any exit seats available to install. They are blocked off from use, but will be given out if asked for at the airport and your ok with not having ife etc (but a dvd player will be given to you subject to it being available and a portable tray table).

The best way to get upstairs in Y is through OLCI as by the time check in opens they have all gone. The only chance of losing the seat is if loads are light and then they won't seat anyone upstairs and move people downstairs.
