only two A330s this year

Only two 330s this year

I'm sure it must have been posted here before but can't find it- I understand that there will only be two 330s this year now with others going to China- are these arranged by VS or have they not taken delivery and the a/c been placed elsewhere.

You're right, only the first two A333s are being accepted, the lessor is leasing the remainder elsewhere (China is the first I'd heard). The problem stated by VS is all to do with cabin configuration (the new UCS wouldn't fit apparently, since it was designed for the B787, and this caused knock on issues) - but I'm not so sure anymore, VS's fleet planning seems to be a long running Laurel & Hardy show and I just don't get the impression VS can plan beyond its nose!

SO, some A343 leases are being extended, meaning more misery on those older planes, and there's very little in the way of expansion this year.

Which ones are going to China? G-VKSS, G-VLUV, G-VGEM and G-VINE?
