Flying Club Miles -extending expiry date

if i purchase via Virgins atlantic website from one of the retailers will it extended the expiry of my miles

Yep - any miles earning activity will do.

PS - not sure how long they take to post though, so not a last minute solution.

to keep topping my miles up i got the VA amex card.

I've generally found miles from shopping purchases have shown on my FC account within 4 weeks, but does vary depending on the retailer.

Yes, some appear within a few days and are very good e.g. Insight. Other retailers NEVER appear and I have ALWAYS had to fill in a missing miles form e.g. Crucial

A bit of a pain to keep on remembering and in these high-tech days, no excuse frankly.

they will extend to 3 years from the date of the latest transaction date
