I much prefer to check the Itineraries Calendar to see who else is flying that day and at a time when I would be in the Clubhouse and then invite the person via PM. After all, one of the reasons the Calendar was set up was to see who might be on your flight and an extension of this is the ability to invite some who is in a lower cabin but flying that day and around that time
