Hi everyone,
I have searched the forum but can't find an answer to my query so would be grateful for any advice:

The VS website says that the terms of the lowest fare basis apply if you have different fare classes on the outbound and inbound.

I have a Z out and an R back. Do you know if I will be able to have the CDC to take me home from Manchester (i.e. one way) or does the Z part rule me out of this?

Also,if the above turns out to be possible, my mum is on a Z and a Z, so no CDC at all. The website says that it's possible to take another passenger with you to the same address. :w Are they really okay about this and has anyone tried it?

Q1 Should be ok as the restrictions are generally about changes to the ticket rather than the services offered.

Q2 The answer is yes you can take your mum with you and yes lots of people on here have done it.

If you have a Z one way and a R D or J the other, you get the CDC at both ends of the other. Have done this loads - don't forget to call and confirm 8D .

Hi tontybear and slinky,
Thank you for the speedy replies.

I'm going to give them a call, armed with this info.
I will book a car from Tristar for the outbound and the CDC for the way back. Sounds great! y)

Because last time, I forgot to move my car from the short stay to the long stay car park. Only remembered on take off. What a nightmare! ii)

In case of any confusion you will get the CDC for your return leg for the journey to the airport from yout hotel etc to the airport AND then from MAN to your home.

Mum will also be allowed in the CDC on the way to the airport on your home bound leg too !

That sounded a bit odd when I read it back - I meant I would only take the CDC if I could take my mum - I wasn't planning to leave her to make her own way home! :D
