reward flights on same booking

I am hoping to book 2 UC reward seats in the next month or so and I was wondering the best way to go about this.

Both myself and my partner will have the correct amount of miles when we come to book, but if I log into my account and try and book 2 UC reward seats, I won't have enough miles as I will need my partners 100,00. Does this mean if you book online it will be 2 separate bookings, or can you phone FC and get them to make the booking, give them both account details so they can put it on one booking?

Or does it not really make ANY difference whatsoever........?

I don't think it makes much difference, but the easiest way to do it would be for your partner to give authority for Virgin deal with you for transactions for his / her account. That way it can all be dealt with in one phone call.

I can't remember if the authority has to be in writing, or if it can be done verbally over the phone, but that is how I deal with it when I am booking for my Wife and Son.

When we first set up my wife's FC account, it was all done over the phone and I was set up with authority on her account.

We booked two Gs with a split of 150K from my a/c and 50K from hers and they both went on to the same booking, booked over the phone.
