VS49 operating again?

Just noticed that the VS49 is scheduled for today, along with the VS27 & VS15, is this just something that will run occasionally throughout the summer or is it a more regular thing that will start again?

I remember in the past the VS49 departed at 14:00 as opposed to 13:30 today and was previously on a Friday. 8D

The VS49/50 will operate every Monday from the 23rd May until the 24th October.

Why a Monday I wonder - I'd have thought a Saturday would have made more commercial sense?

Could be due to a/c availability or slot availability etc.

I guess, during the holiday periods, it doesn't really matter, as demand will be there regardless.

Seems odd that they would have 2 departures between the same destinations 30 mins apart so i'm guessing VS didn't have much choice on when the flights went.
