Hi

We've booked flights in PE to Miami on 19th Aug return flight on 1st Sept (2 adults 1 child). Keep getting an upgrade button on my booking page to UC for £149 or something but each time I click link it says it's not available. Well why have the link there then!

I desperately want to upgrade and wanted to use miles but was booked in wrong ticket so can't use our 184000 to upgrade so need to pay.

Have managed to upgrade both legs of our Washington trip next month but having done Chicago last month and Miami last year in UC I've turned into a bit of a travel snob!

Thanks

£149 is an absolute steal for UC.

I'd suggest a screen dump of the £149 upgrade price, plus a screen dump of the message once you click - then as suggested above, on the phone to VS!

I suspect another wonderful VS online cock-up, and that when you call the offer is mysteriously unavailable :w .

Blimey, if a button like that popped up on my booking I wouldn't need to be told what to do ! Nice one if you can get it.

It's really irritating. I was impressed to do Washington for £700 each both ways. Thought that was a bargain. I called few weeks ago about ticket type and they said then upgrade for Miami was £1200 each which I can't justify. Lookks like they have availability by just searching on on flights but I don't know how accurate that is. May take your suggestion of a dump screen. Doubt they'll let me have it at that price though andit is only one way. I want return.

Good luck

I had a similar issue last year when I spotted some really cheap flights on the VA website. Every time I tried to book an error occurred - completely exasperated I rang customer service/sales. They said the fare was not available on their system, so I sent in screen dumps of the fares etc..

It did no good.

Customer services came outside the DMZ and tried booking using the customer web site and saw the fares I had referenced still being offered. Web error - no recourse - Sorry!

Changed 48 hrs later.

I had the same problem last week the system online said upgrade to PE for £94 but when I clicked it it said not available. I called flying club and explained and they upgraded me for £93.50 :D so I would definitely give them a call.
