Virgin flight tracker now in ITunes.

Some initial feedback:

1. The new Arrivals/Departures interface looks FANTASTIC! Would love to see that "rounded look" applied to the rest of the "boxes" throughout the app.

2. It takes 4 layers to get from the Main Menu to the actual fight's info. Is there a creative way to eliminate some layers (to get from Main Menu to final result in less steps)?

3. Can we add the new VS font the text in more of the app? Would love to see more of the new branding used.

4. Presenting "Check-In" in both the Main Menu and on the Menu Bar feels redundant. We could streamline the app by eliminating one or the other.

5. Would love to see the 2010 aircraft livery on the 747 photos.

6. The aircraft photos seem to appear squashed a bit.

Great work! Looking forward to version 3.0 soon!

I use this app on the iPad. It keeps on crashing when trying to look at arrivals or departures. ?|

Will there be Android versions of these apps?

A new version has now been released with the following updates:

"Fixed a bug that was crashing the app on older devices on the Arrivals / Departures screen"

"Added the correct image for the A30-300"

Don't know if it's just me but the zoom function on the globe no longer works with this new version?

A new version has now been released that is suppose to fix the globe issue on devices with retina display.

The new version does indeed now work correctly on the iPhone 4 with iOS 4.2.

We just need a full size iPad version now please

Is anyone still having problems with this app? I can never get the globe to refresh, thus meaning none of the airbourne flight data is ever correct!

I've tried reinstalling and going into all options, turning it off etc, but it won't refresh (well I lie, it does randomly refresh sometimes!)

I've reported it via the app store.

Anyone know what little technique you need to ensure it does refresh?

They are aware about refreshing issues. The only way to clear it is to double tap the home button then find the application in the scrol at the botom. Press the virgin Icon until the x comes up. Delete it and then open the App again. That process closes the Application so refreshes the info.
